Epixtar Assisting Investigation into Improper Short Selling of Its Shares

MIAMI - (BUSINESS WIRE) - July 23, 2003 - EPIXTAR Corp. (OTCBB:EPXR - News) today announced that it has been notified that the trading of its common stock is the subject of an ongoing investigation involving possible illegal short selling by unrelated third parties.

The Company stated the investigation does not involve any activities of the Company, its management, or employees.

In the interest of protecting shareholder value, the Company is cooperating fully in this matter. The Company will make no further statements or comment regarding this investigation.
